FAQs & process

Straight answers, then the whole process

Everything homeowners ask us before signing — answered the same way we answer in person. No asterisks.

How much will I actually save?

It depends on your bill and how much power you use in the daytime. A ₱9,000/month household with our Family package (5.5 kWp) typically lands somewhere between ₱5,000 and ₱7,400 in monthly savings — daytime usage runs on solar at ₱0, and excess exports to Meralco as credit. Every proposal we send shows the computation, with the assumptions written down. If a number sounds too good to be true, ask us to show the math — we will.

What is net metering, and do you handle it?

Net metering is a Meralco program that credits you for excess solar power your home sends back to the grid. Sobrang produced power in the daytime becomes bawas sa bill. The application involves paperwork, inspection, and a meter change — and yes, we process all of it for you. It is included in every package, not an add-on.

Grid-tie vs hybrid — do I need batteries?

Grid-tie (no battery) gives the fastest payback: every peso goes into panels that directly cut your bill. Hybrid adds a battery so you have power during brownouts and at night — but batteries add significant cost, so we only recommend them if outages genuinely hurt you (work-from-home, medical equipment, frequent brownouts in your area). Our inverters are hybrid-ready, so you can start grid-tie and add a battery later.

What happens during a brownout?

A grid-tie system shuts off during a brownout — that is a safety requirement (anti-islanding), so it cannot back-feed lines that crews are repairing. If you need power through outages, that is exactly what the Hybrid package with battery backup is for: lights, ref, fans, and Wi-Fi stay on.

Will it work on my roof type?

Almost always, yes. We install on corrugated metal (yero), concrete deck, and tile roofs — each with the correct mounting and waterproofing. Metal roofs are the fastest. During the free assessment we check the structure, and if your roof needs repair first, we tell you honestly instead of installing over a problem.

How long is installation?

One to three days on your roof. Starter and Family systems are usually done in 1–2 days; Family+ and Hybrid take up to 3. Permits and net metering run before and after — we handle those on our side, and the timeline is in your proposal.

What maintenance is needed?

Very little. Rain does most of the cleaning; a fresh-water rinse two to four times a year keeps output at its best, especially near dusty roads. There are no moving parts. Your monitoring app shows daily output, so kung may mababa, makikita agad — and our 5-year workmanship warranty covers the installation itself.

Is financing available?

Yes — through partner banks and BillEase. Standard terms are 50% down to schedule and the balance upon commissioning, payable by GCash, bank transfer, or credit card. With financing, monthly amortization often lands close to what the system saves you, so the cash-flow hit is small.

What if I sell my house?

A solar installation transfers with the property and is a genuine selling point — the buyer inherits a lower bill and the remaining warranties. We assist with transferring the net metering agreement to the new owner. (If you really want to bring the panels, relocation is possible, but staying put is almost always worth more.)

Typhoon-proof ba talaga?

Our mounting is engineered for Philippine wind zones and installed by our own crew — through-bolted rails, marine-grade hardware, every roof penetration waterproofed. Panels themselves are rated for hail and high wind loads. Installations from 2019 onward have been through multiple signal 3–4 typhoons; workmanship issues are on us for 5 years, and that is in writing.

Plain language

Net metering, minus the jargon

The program that turns your roof into a small power plant Meralco pays credit for.

Diagram: sunlight hits your solar panels; power runs your home first; excess flows through the Meralco meter to the grid and comes back as bill credits. Your home runs first Meralco meter Grid Excess exports = bill credits

1. Your panels power your home first. While the sun is up, your aircon, ref, and appliances run on solar — those kilowatt-hours never appear on your bill.

2. Excess power exports to the grid. When the system produces more than the house is using, the surplus flows backward through a bidirectional Meralco meter.

3. Exports come back as credits. Meralco values every exported kWh at its generation charge and deducts the amount from your next bill. That is why our estimates count exported energy at a lower rate than energy you use directly — honest math beats a pretty number.

The application involves forms, an inspection, and the meter swap. It is included in every package — we file it, follow it up, and message you when the new meter is running.

Step by step

How it works

Five steps from "curious" to "exporting excess power to Meralco." You lift nothing heavier than your phone.

  1. 1

Send us your monthly Meralco bill

Photo of your bill via the form or Messenger — that is all we need to size your system and give a realistic savings estimate.

  2. 2

    Free site assessment

Our engineer visits your home, checks the roof and shading, and measures your actual load. No fee, no obligation, whether or not you push through.

  3. 3

    Fixed-price proposal

You get a written proposal: system size, complete equipment list, savings projection with the math shown, and one fixed price. Walang hidden charges.

  4. 4

    Installation in 1–3 days

Most residential systems are done in a day or two; larger and hybrid systems take up to three. We handle permits before we ever climb your roof.

  5. 5

    Net metering, processed for you

We prepare and file your Meralco net metering application and see it through inspection. Once approved, your excess power exports to the grid as bill credits.

Warranties, in plain language

No asterisk games — these are the numbers, written the same way in your proposal.
